The second stage of ESL Pro League Season 11 Europe has concluded, with fnatic advancing directly to the grand final, while Astralis and MOUZ will rematch in the decider.
fnatic clinched the top spot after beating Natus Vincere in a two-map series in the last round, which saw the Swedes strike back with a dominant defense on Inferno to turn around a 4-11 deficit, and close it out with a straight-forward victory on Nuke.
Meanwhile, Astralis completed a successful comeback from a 0-2 start in the second stage after a dominant display against MOUZ in their fifth match, in which the Danish powerhouse only conceded four rounds across two maps.
The two results put Astralis, MOUZ, and Natus Vincere in a three-way tie at a 3-2 record each. As the trio all had 1-1 records in the head-to-head matchups, the map difference between the tied teams was used to break down the placings, which resulted in Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev & co. being eliminated in fourth place.
Astralis and MOUZ will thus play once more in the deciding match on Saturday at 18:25 . The winner of that series will go on to play fnatic in Sunday's grand final at 16:25 .
